Lakeside & Santee Firefighter-Paramedics - 40 Years of Service
In July of 1975, the first Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic ambulance in San Diego County went into service at Santee Fire District Station 1 (now fs4). The crew consisted of one Santee and one Lakeside Firefighter-Paramedic. This was the beginning of the first and longest-running paramedic program in San Diego County - CSA-69 Heartland Paramedics.
