For the past 8 years the Lakeside FIrefighters instituted the Adopt-A-Family program where we have found local families in need of support during the holiday season.  We have provided everything from essentials such as clothing and jackets, household items, and especially toys for children and holiday dinners for one to two families per year in need of help.
